Senior Finance Analyst - Technology Portfolio Support

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Aligned Finance Analyst for the Technology Finance Division to support the portfolios for Digital Technology & Innovation, Enterprise Functions Technology, and COO Technology
In this role, you will:
- Partner across Technology, Finance and Product teams in inputting the portfolio forecast
- Prepare presentations to summarize results or present requirements to technology partners
- Create trend analysis and research variances
- Execute input/output controls
- Data compilation including retrieving from various input templates
- Support key management reporting processes including month end reporting and financial reviews
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Exercise independent judgment while leveraging a solid understanding of the policies, procedures, and compliance requirements within Technology Finance
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Economics.
- Relevant employment experience in financial services / banking industry.
- Strong technical skills including reporting databases and Microsoft Office (and specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau)
- Experience with controls compliance and documentation
- Experience with Essbase.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to prepare and present analysis and recommendations.
- Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management.
- Ability to effectively assess stakeholder, partner, or client needs while consulting, building solutions, and developing and fostering strong partnerships.
- Sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.
- Ability to influence and partner with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.
