About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Municipal Placements Analyst to join our Municipal Products Group. The Municipal Products Group provides investment banking, municipal derivatives, investor solutions, institutional sales, secondary trading and underwriting services to issuer and investor clients.
In this role, you will:
- Participate in analyzing companies, develop strategies for clients, pulling market and industry research, and completing a trading simulation within Investment Banking Program
- Review strategies for clients, build detailed financial models, analyze market data, and prepare client presentations related to low-to-medium risk tasks and deliverables
- Receive direction from a manager and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Investment Banking Program experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Public Finance Investment Banking offers a full-service Investment Banking platform responsible for originating and structuring transactions for States, local governments, and not-for-profit clients. We provide capital raising solutions for governments, education & nonprofit and nonprofit healthcare institutions
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Public Finance Analyst will assume significant responsibilities that may include:
- Developing and maintaining municipal financial information such as cash flows and debt profiles
- Working closely with senior bankers to prepare presentations and other materials for clients
- Working with partners in the commercial bank to develop financing solutions for clients
- Performing comprehensive and in-depth client and industry research
- Participating in strategic planning and assisting in the execution of advisory services
- Conducting financial and credit analysis, preparing credit packages, and monitoring existing deals
- Participating in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
- Proposing potential financing opportunities
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$84,000.00 - $179,200.00Benefits
