About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Technology Business Services Consultant. This role will serve as a strategic advisor and governance leader, driving enterprise-wide initiatives that shape vendor strategy, operational excellence, and risk mitigation. You will influence senior leadership, lead cross-functional programs, and ensure alignment with global compliance and performance frameworks.

In this role, you will:

Strategic Leadership & Enterprise Governance (70%)

  • Lead enterprise-wide third-party governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory, risk, and compliance mandates.
  • Serve as a strategic escalation point for executive leadership, resolving complex vendor and operational challenges.
  • Lead multi-year transformation programs including vendor ecosystem redesign, insourcing strategy, and cost optimization.
  • Define and drive strategic vendor engagement models, including preferred partner frameworks and exception governance.
  • Collaborate with senior IT leaders and partner teams, demonstrating strategic understanding of business needs.
  • Adept in building presentations that enable communication of strategic direction across technology.

Organizational Leadership & Operational Excellence (30%)

  • Drive enterprise process reengineering initiatives to enhance scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Facilitate governance councils and strategic forums to identify innovation and offshoring opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance across global teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology Management, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in technology operations, vendor governance, or strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated success in leading enterprise-wide initiatives and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership in managing global teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems.
  • Advanced proficiency in strategic reporting, data visualization, and business intelligence tools.

Skills & Tools

  • MS Office Suite, MS Visio, Power BI/Tableau, and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Expertise in SOW governance, vendor risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Executive-level communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement.
