About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator. This role is responsible for credit portfolio management to meet the long-term financial objectives and risk tolerance for commercial banking clients. Serves as a key member of a client’s deal team.
In this role, you will:
- Review complex credit information of loans for companies and industries
- Provide support to the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team and more experienced individuals in the credit approval process
- Perform complex credit investigations on companies and industries
- Utilize knowledge and interpretation of procedures to direct less experienced individuals
- Interact with immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:
- Education Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. MBA a plus
- With solid experience in Risk and Regulatory Data Validation and Remediation that exists on Systems of Record (SOR).
- Well-versed with Credit Agreements and Credit Approval Documents
- Knowledge of Accounting and Finance, Industry analysis, internal and external risk factors of the borrower
- Ability to interpret loan/credit documents
- Good understanding of key credit terms such as interest rates, advance rate, loan limits, fee
- Strong MS Excel and Reporting Skills. Good with macros is a plus.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills
- Receives and reciprocates basic information clearly in the written and oral form; Demonstrates good command over the English language
- Ability to escalate issues appropriately
- Ability to accurately process high volumes of work within established deadlines
- Ability to adapt to change and work on multiple processes
- Ability to set priorities, and deliver the tasks within the stipulated timelines
- Highly motivated with strong organizational skills
- Ability to succeed in a team environment
- Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Job Expectations:
- Validate information on various Systems of Records with exhaustive authoritative documentation
- Proactively respond to inquiries on accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Provide training and mentorship for more Junior Team Members
- Cross train on other existing processes
- Should be flexible in switching roles in between multiple processes as per business requirement
- Should be flexible in taking additional responsibilities and ensure smooth execution without compromising on quality and timelines
- High level of initiative and accountability
- Process work as agreed with the Line of Business and adhere to the procedures/standards of the process
- Flexibility to work in different shifts
