About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
  • Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
  • Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
  • Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
  • Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
  • Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate from reputed university.
  • Total 7+ yrs. experience in VMware Infrastructure System administration.
  • 2+ Yrs. Windows/Linux System Administration.
  • 5+ Yrs. VMware Administration in Enterprise Environment.
  • VMware Certified Professional 8.x
  • Host hardware (Dell/HP/vXRAIL/PowerFlex) troubleshooting and configuration.
  • vRealize Operations Manager
  • NSX-V/NSX-T
  • vSAN
  • Storage (SAN/NFS1)
  • Networking
  • Should have managed Min 1000 ESXi Hosts
  • PowerShell/Ansible Scripting
  • Problem Analysis skills.
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • English and at least one regional language.


Job Expectations:

  • Working on ServiceNow ticketing tool to handle Problem and Change Management activities.
  • Manage virtual machines, templates, clones, and snapshots.
  • Troubleshooting virtual machine state issues
  • Troubleshooting VMware snapshot issues
  • Performing Storage and Cluster Techrefresh activities
  • Performance and capacity management on VMWare Infrastructure
  • Planning and implementing ESXi Host Patches
  • Managing host configuration compliance Using Host Profile
  • ESXi 8.x/VCenter 8.x installation, Configuration
  • Troubleshooting vCenter Server & ESXi issues
  • NSX-V/NSX-T Deployment and Configuration
  • Performing Maintenance and troubleshooting activities on NSX-V/NSX-T
  • Powerflex Implementation and configuration
  • Performing Maintenance and troubleshooting activities on Powerflex
  • vSAN Deployment and Configuration
  • Performing Maintenance and troubleshooting activities on vSAN
  • Performing ESXi7.x/8.x VCenter 7.x/8.x Upgrades
  • Managing and Troubleshooting Standard / Distributed Switches
  • Troubleshooting Hosts/VMs performance issues
  • Configuring and troubleshooting HA/DRS/VMotion/SVMotion
  • Working on VMware vRealize Operations Manager to identify and address Performance and capacity issues.
  • Automation of Day-to-Day activities using PowerCli/Ansible
  • Backup and restore VMWare servers using VDP
  • Hardware Configuration and Troubleshooting (Dell/HP/vXRAIL)
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve basic to moderately complex system problems to ensure that business partner service commitments are met.
  • Responds to business partner inquiries and resolves or escalates concerns, as necessary.
  • Participates in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes.
  • RCA preparation and meeting SLA for RCA submission.
  • Driving/coordinating Projects
  • Working in 12*7 Support

English and at least one regional language.
