About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer .
Wells Fargo is seeking a passionate Python, Spark senior developer with good exposure to Gen AI and full stack engineering. A successful candidate should be self-motivated/self-directed and demonstrate high proficiency in application design, coding, code reviews, refactoring and troubleshooting. The individual will support and assist in the analysis and design of complex technical solutions including maintaining and modifying new and existing application modules, creating necessary design documentation, participating in code review, researching production issues, test support issues etc.
In this role, you will:
Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications:
- 6+ years’ strong development experience in Python, PySpark.
- Understands the concepts of AI, Gen AI and has hands-on experience
- Exposure to writing APIs, API Gateways, Microservices.
- Experience and knowledge in continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) using udeploy/harness, Jenkins, github, JIRA. Dev Ops.
- Good understanding of Data modelling, Database design, Data analytics, Data warehousing concepts, Data Quality and Data Governance
- Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.
- Proficiency in Linux and shell scripts, job scheduling
- Assure adherence to standards, best practices, and alignment with overall architecture
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Knowledge of automated testing is a plus.
