About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core)
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Hands-on experience with Angular or React, along with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/CE), including customization and integrations
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
  • Experience working with SQL Server and database design
  • Exposure to messaging systems such as Kafka
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub)
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns
  • Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Knowledge of secure SDLC practices and working in regulated environments (banking/financial services)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with global teams

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to work in a hybrid model from Hyderabad/Bangalore location
  • Participate in on-call rotations and production support activities as needed

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
  • Develop and maintain scalable full stack applications using .NET technologies
  • Build and enhance APIs and integrations, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related platforms
  • Support modernization of legacy systems into API-driven and microservices-based architectures
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and regulatory requirements in a financial services environment
