About the Team

The Growth Organization at Workday aligns strategy and execution to drive performance in our most critical market segments. In this role, you will be part of a team that views data as a transformative asset. You will provide the insights—from real-time alerts to deep-dive trend analysis—that allow our leaders to make the data-driven decisions necessary to accelerate Workday’s Medium Enterprise business and scale our international footprint. Your work will be the foundation upon which we build our must-win strategies, ensuring that every move we make is backed by accurate and impactful analytics.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in the Growth Org, you will serve as the architectural bridge between raw data and strategic execution. We operate in a high-growth environment with a vast landscape of data sources; your mission is to navigate this complexity to identify, define, and track the key metrics that drive our must-win segments. Reporting to the Chief of Staff for Growth, you will be more than an analyst—you will be a strategic partner to leadership, diving deep into our data ecosystem to translate their business challenges into data-informed solutions. By becoming a true subject matter expert, you will deliver the interactive dashboards and actionable insights that empower our leaders to pivot quickly and scale our international and planning business units.

About You

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with various leaders and departments to understand their data needs, develop reports and dashboards, and provide data-driven recommendations to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Growth leadership and Program Managers to decode high-level strategies into measurable OKRs and tracking frameworks.

  • Lead discovery sessions and user interviews to deeply understand the "why" behind data requests, ensuring solutions are integrated into the daily workflows of Sales, Product, and Engineering.

  • Act as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for Growth data, documenting complex data sources (including Salesforce, Gainsight, Marketing Automation, and internal Product Telemetry) and logic to ensure a "single source of truth" across the organization.

  • Design and maintain high-performance, interactive dashboards, utilizing visual hierarchy and storytelling to make complex market data digestible.

  • Architect data sources and workbooks using industry best practices to ensure rapid load times, efficient refresh cycles, and long-term maintainability.

  • Conduct rigorous gap analysis between existing data infrastructure and business needs, collaborating with stakeholders across the business to influence the roadmap for new data pipelines.

  • Move beyond descriptive reporting to perform deep-dive analysis that identifies trends, anomalies, and specific growth levers for the Medium Enterprise, Global Products, and Planning segments.

  • Define and execute rigorous QA protocols for data accuracy, security, and functional performance, ensuring stakeholders have absolute trust in the numbers.

  • Create technical documentation and provide training to end-users to foster a self-service data culture within the Growth Org.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst role or similar analytical role.

  • 2+ year experience with SQL and data manipulation techniques.

  • 2+ year experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake, Power BI, Looker, Workday).

Other Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical audiences.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

  • Experience supporting a professional services workforce, understanding their specific reporting needs related to utilization, project profitability, and resource management.

  • Experience with statistical modeling and data mining techniques.

  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.

Workday is an Equal Opportunity Employer including individuals with disabilities and protected veterans.

At Workday, we are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive hiring experience where all candidates can fully demonstrate their skills. If you require assistance or an accommodation at any point, please email
