About the Role

The Partner Strategy and Growth team in the Global Partner Organization, leads strategy, planning and business development for the partner business at Workday. We define and execute our strategy with leaders across the business; lead strategic partner relationships; and deliver sizable, net-new revenue growth with partners.

The Workday Wellness Technical Business Development Lead role leads go-to-market with our most strategic partner relationships in Workday Wellness. Building on the Workday Benefits & Pay hub, Workday Wellness is our next generation platform to deliver benefits and care to employees. The platform will reduce integration costs with benefits providers, accelerate time to deliver benefits, improve employee experience, improve voluntary benefits participation, and provide data & analytics to benefits administrators and CHROs.

A successful Technical Business Development Lead will lead technology engagements with our complex and bespoke partner relationships, establishing trust, demoing capabilities of the new platform, providing deep expertise and explaining value of the platform. They will also support onboarding and successful integration with Workday Wellness APIs. They will have strong organizational skills, business acumen, executive presence and communicate at all levels at our partners and be a strong advocate and champion for our Wellness partners within Workday. They will take ownership and accountability, move with speed and deliver results on behalf of the partner.

Además, debe apoyar el proceso de incorporación y la integración satisfactoria con las interfaces de programación de aplicaciones (API) de Workday Wellness. Debe contar con habilidades de organización sólidas, visión de negocio y presencia ejecutiva; además, debe saber comunicarse eficazmente con todos los niveles dentro de los partners y ser un firme defensor e impulsor de los partners de Wellness dentro de Workday. Debe asumir la responsabilidad de su trabajo, rendir cuentas, actuar con agilidad y ofrecer resultados en nombre del partner.

About You

Basic Qualifications: Technical Business Development Lead

  • 2+ years in software as a service companies

  • 1+ years of experience in software presales, or value management, either with partners or customers

  • It is essential to be bilingual in Spanish and English

Basic Qualifications: Senior Technical Business Development Lead

  • 4+ years in software as a service companies

  • 2+ years of experience in software presales, or value management, either with partners or customers

  • It is essential to be bilingual in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in ERP presales or value management with strong working knowledge of APIs

  • Graduate or undergraduate degree, or equivalent in Computer Science / Engineering

  • Experience in US healthcare, financial services or insurance markets

  • Consistent record of exceeding targets and customer impact

  • Ability to frame, structure and execute large and complex partner deals

  • Ability to engage with executives, facilitate business development, identify large-scale greenfield opportunities, and deliver business and revenue outcomes

  • Ability to influence senior leaders and executives

  • Strong written and oral presentation skills

  • Trayectoria constante de superación de objetivos y de impacto en clientes

  • Capacidad para definir, estructurar y ejecutar acuerdos complejos y de gran envergadura con partners

  • Capacidad para relacionarse con ejecutivos, impulsar el desarrollo de negocio, identificar oportunidades de desarrollo desde cero a gran escala y generar resultados comerciales y de ingresos

  • Capacidad para influir a altos directivos y ejecutivos

  • Habilidades sólidas de comunicación escrita y de presentación oral
