From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Product Marketing Manager on the YouTube Marketing team, you will guide the strategy and execution for Product Marketing. You will bring these YouTube products and their innovations to market and maintain a disciplined approach to prioritization, measurement and go-to-market execution, in partnership with Product and Growth teams, including shaping and expressing the team’s goal through compelling content, programs and experiences that drive impact, partnering directly with regional/global teams to understand prioritization principles and drive cross-functional alignment on Product investment areas, Growth Marketing needs and resourcing plans.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

  • Provide marketing leadership across the organization to influence and drive strategies impacting YouTube.
  • Set a creator marketing strategy to achieve our YouTube business goal (e.g., Creator M10N and CSAT).
  • Plan and implement a go-to-market strategy for priority product launches for our creator ecosystem (e.g., commercialization plan, awareness and adoption strategies, etc.) with cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the development and execution of a coherent global strategy during planning.
