Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in partner management, project management, product management or a similar technical operations role.
  • 5 years of experience working with external partners to identify technical issues.
  • Experience in TV and digital technologies.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Korean fluently to engage with clients in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in TV or digital streaming video technologies in APAC.
  • Experience identifying, shaping and incorporating emerging industry trends and standards.
  • Track record of successfully balancing multiple timelines, partners and priorities to drive timely and effective project execution.
  • Ability to navigate complex conversations to drive results between stakeholders with potentially engaging priorities.

The TV and Media Industry is changing and our team is focused on building the future of premium subscription content at YouTube. Our operations team works cross-functionally across engineering, product, business development and finance on a variety of initiatives spanning across YouTube and YouTube TV, emerging content subscriptions and more. We are looking for proactive and passionate leaders who can help us scale operationally and support new product and partner launches.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team that is on the front-lines of the onboarding and ongoing operations relationships with some of YouTube’s most strategic TV and media partners.
  • Leverage TV and media industry expertise to identify and cultivate new content and technology opportunities and provide regular partner intelligence updates to cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure the team understands and represents YouTube’s technical interests during partner contract negotiations and can identify potential operational risks/mitigate those risks via cross-functional collaboration and creative problem-solving with our partners.
  • Drive collaboration with internal teams to refine existing processes and tools used by partners and operators.
  • Partner with our Product, Business and Strategy teams to identify new partnership opportunities and support the operational needs for the region and product. Create and manage partner onboarding timelines for APAC.
