The Clinical Biophotonics Lab (https://wp.nyu.edu/tandonschoolofengineering-cbl/) at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a full time Research Associate.

Expectations
Candidates will be responsible for assisting in the development of a dynamic vascular optical tomographic imaging system to be used for the assessment of the hemodynamics in the carotid artery and other major vessels in the human body. Tasks will involve designing electric circuits, testing system components, applying the system to tissue phantoms, and analyzing data from humans. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in in optical
medical imaging and related fields. as exemplified by a strong publication record. The successful candidate should be driven, creative and team-oriented with a passion for medical device development. We are seeking individuals with a strong background in optical medical imaging and related fields
Salary range
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $52,000.00 depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification.
Qualifications
Candidates should have at least a MS in Biomedical Engineering or a related field. Candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
