Are you good with data, interested in Africa and topics like climate change and displacement? Political scientists at NYU Abu Dhabi are looking for a full-time research assistant/associate to be based in Abu Dhabi for the academic year 2025-26 (start date: September 2025).

The position entails data management and analysis, writing literature reviews, aid with grant applications, and text editing.

Candidates must have advanced data analysis skills in Stata and R, and advanced writing skills. The preferred candidate has a master’s degree in any social science discipline, quantitative data analysis, or statistics; candidates with qualifications in political science are preferred. Undergrads with excellent skill sets will also be considered.

There might be an opportunity for co-authorships for a qualified candidate. The position comes with competitive salary and benefits, including relocation and housing allowances.
