We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering department as a key player in the development & support of next generation Network products. This key position includes leading the product and fixtures design, close interaction with HW, PMC (Product management & configuration), NPI, Thermal, Layout, Quality and Supply chain groups. NVIDIA Networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet connectivity solutions and services for servers and storage. What you will be doing:

  • Support legacy products, Lead sustain engineering tasks as: BOM & Design changes, Documentation update, 2nd source parts approval , investigate malfunctions & strive to fix them, investigate customer complaints, Bugs & RMA units.

  • Join and lead task forces to investigate and support production excursions, failure analysis and reliability issues.

  • Drive multiple tasks while working in fast-paced Engineering tasks cycles.

  • Independently lead Eng Tasks & Sub products designs, through detailed design process, and support it during Qualification, NPI and MP stages.

  • Support Design, QC & Operation teams with Design & Documentation creation.

  • Support, inspection & training of production lines.

  • Lead internally small-scale assembly’s & fixes.

  • Collaborate in research of groundbreaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that solve ever growing needs.

What we need to see:

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.

  • 2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product design & assembly, including PCB/PCBA design & assembly.

  • Excellent hands-on experience with 3D CAD. Creo preferred.

  • Self-motivated with a sharp learning curve. Ability to work independently and as a teammate.

  • High service orientation and strong communication skills (English and Hebrew).

  • Background in high-volume manufacturing technologies & assemblies.

  • Proficiency in writing of work/assembly instructions, presentations, using CAD tools, Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

  • Experience with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and experience in developing fixtures/jigs for product assembly/testing.

  • Experience in defining and executing DOE (Design of Experiment).

  • Ability to travel abroad.

  • Skilled in working with supply chains, contract manufacturers, and leading resources such as consultants, component suppliers, contractors, and manufacturing partners.

  • High working skills -Handyman, experience with assembly tools, 3D printers & lifting equipment, knowledge with working safety demands.

  • Background in developing & maintenance of liquid cooled systems.

  • Familiar with IDF file exchange processes with Layout engineers.

  • Expertise in designing PCIe and OCP3.0 standards compliant products, as well as implementing and training on new design and flow methodologies.
