We are looking for a hard-working engineer to join our Firmware testing team. This position will be part of SW QA group, which enables NVIDIA products meet the industry-leading benchmarks of efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will engage in testing of new features: learn new features according to arch documentation and HLDs, design new test cases, execute manual and automated tests and automate new and existing tests.

What you'll be doing:

  • Review arch design and requirements for new features introduced in the HCA FW

  • Design, develop and implement tests for the new features, as part of Firmware update releases

  • Automate newly added tests in the existing automation framework, add new capabilities and features to the framework

  • Report bugs found during execution, assist with reproduction and debugs to understand root cause, verify bug fixes provided by R&D team, raise if not fixed

  • Perform tests in different scopes: regression, performance, functional, security; report progress of testing and provide summary reports of testing activity

What we need to see:

  • Practical / BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineer

  • Scripting skills and experience in Python

  • 1+ years of proven experience

  • Clear verbal and written communication, proficient written and spoken English

  • Independent worker, able to plan and shine in area of responsibility

  • Standout colleague with good communication, desire to lead

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Proven experience in QA - methodologies, test design

  • Knowledge / experience in Networking

  • Knowledge in Linux OS
