Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer to join our Financial Systems Infrastructure team. What you'll be doing:
Engage with product engineering teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of their infrastructure and data engineering use cases. Communicate build trade-offs effectively and construct scalable systems to meet their outstanding needs.
Develop advanced tooling to automate the build and deployment of microservices and infrastructure components, improving efficiency and productivity.
Proactively identify bottlenecks in the daily usage of core infrastructure and implement robust solutions to resolve them.
Monitor the infrastructure to alert on significant events, ensuring the highest system performance and reliability level.
What we need to see:
Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
5+ years of hands-on experience crafting and constructing infrastructure for large-scale, fault-tolerant distributed services.
Demonstrated expertise with major cloud infrastructure platforms, such as AWS, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools, including GitOps-based deployment models.
Proven hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and platforms, including data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration technologies. Familiarity with distributed processing frameworks, data warehouses, and cloud-based data platforms is highly desirable.
High proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, and at least one general-purpose programming language (Python, Golang, or Java).
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
Expertise in coordinating and operating Kubernetes clusters and Envoy Ingress Gateways.
Background in site reliability engineering or platform engineering is a plus.
Demonstrated experience crafting secure, compliant infrastructure aligned with financial systems (e.g. SOC 2, PCI, SOX), ensuring stringent security and audit requirements.
