We're looking for a hardworking Sr. Systems Engineer – Physical Security Technology to join NVIDIA at our Santa Clara, California headquarters! This person will help modernize and ensure that our physical security systems are creating a safe and secure working environment for our 30,000+ employees over more than 50 offices worldwide.
What You’ll Be Doing
Deploying, monitoring and operating cloud resources that support the physical security systems across NVIDIA.
Creating infrastructure as code and automation that supports the scalability and supportability of the physical security systems.
Support the global security systems and technology, to include the design, configuration, installation, integration, maintenance, and administration of infrastructure, systems, platforms, and applications.
Lead the deployment of sophisticated solutions for both our physical security solutions and the infrastructure that supports them.
Coordinate integration of the physical security hardware, software and networks.
Perform tier 3 support for complex issues to ensure system uptime and reliability.
Perform full system lifecycle management for physical security infrastructure from concept, design, implementation and operation through to decommissioning.
Maintain systems documentation and compose runbooks to facilitate support efforts for the on-call team.
Provide technical support and training to clients and internal staff on security system operation and maintenance
What We Need To See
Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer or Electrical Engineering
10+ overall years in a similar role within a multinational corporation
Experience designing entire systems as a solution architect, including servers, databases, physical end points, etc.
Proficiency in one or more scripting and/or programming languages (Python, Ruby, C#, Java, etc.)
Knowledge of AI technologies pertaining to security systems
Hands-on experience with database migration, modification, and troubleshooting (MSSQL, SQLite, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Development and upgrade of new applications and scripts
Leading and performing global systems migrations and integrations
Certifications or substantial experience with multiple security systems (Lenel, C-CURE, Genetec, Milestone, Vidsys, etc.).
Effective interpersonal skills, team building skills and attention to detail

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 144,000 USD - 230,000 USD for Level 4, and 184,000 USD - 264,500 USD for Level 5.You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
