A DAY IN THE LIFE:
This role is responsible for supporting software engineering business and operational processes. Leads and participates in process improvements while working with cross functional organizations. Works closely with program management, procurement and human resources to ensure clear communications and timely execution on operational tasks.
- Supports invoice and purchase requisition processing for the software engineering team.
- Partners with software engineering vendors to ensure timely and accuracy of onboarding, offboarding, purchase requisition and invoice processing.
- Works collaboratively with the IT organization to optimize processes and facilitate closure of tickets logged by software engineering.
- Supports the creation, management and documentation of organization and delivery KPI’s and metrics.
- Tracks and manages software engineering assets and licenses.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
YOU’RE AWESOME AT:
- Prior experience with project & program delivery teams, highly preferred.
- Exposure to a corporate environment; knowledge of core department functions and operations.
- Some understanding of business processes around areas of software engineering and delivery.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Use or knowledge of Jira highly desirable.
- Ability to take feedback as a learning opportunity.
- Desire to actively looks for opportunities to expand their skillset and application knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong presentations skills a plus.
- Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:
- Experience with leveraging AI-powered work productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Co-Pilot) to enhance productivity.
- Data analytics/reporting,
- Project management,
- Consulting with recognized firm.
EXTRA AWESOME:
- Associate’s degree, relevant certification, or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
- 1+ years of working in a supporting role in an office environment in a consulting or delivery focused organization.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The starting base pay range for this position is $22.26 - $27.79 per hour. Base pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and may also fluctuate depending on candidate’s location and the overall job market. In addition to base pay, Tandem offers a competitive compensation package that includes bonus, equity, and a robust benefits package.
Tandem offers health care benefits such as medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts and flexible saving accounts.
