As a Staff Analyst you will assist the Finance team in managing cash inventory, sales reports and performing variance analysis. In addition, you will work on audits and partnering with our vendors as applicable.

This is a Part-Time, Temporary role available for up to a 3-month period starting in May 2025. This position reports to the Finance Manager and will be working onsite at our beautiful Aulani resort on Oahu, Hawaii.

What will you do:

  • Manage cash inventory, provide currency exchange services to requesting lines of business, and accurately balance the cash vault daily
  • Manage sales reports, sales receipts, and perform necessary research for various requests
  • Maintain Records Inventory Management standards regarding all necessary documentation/files
  • Perform Variance Analysis and Location Audits
  • Audit the Front Office Upgrade Program
  • Manage, report, and/or assist in coordination of environmental impact initiatives through Property Control Program
  • Correspond with and provide critical information to internal and external partners
  • Partner with 3rd party vendors as needed
  • Perform other administrative functions

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook
  • Partnering and relationship skills; including the ability to communicate effectively and resolve conflict
  • Understanding of O/S (over/short)
  • Ability to learn new systems and programs
  • Action planning and follow through
  • Ability to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday and all observed holidays, with flexibility to provide coverage of additional hours based upon business needs
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs

It would be a plus if you also have these skills:

  • Banking experience
  • Bookkeeping experience

Education is important to us; here is what we're looking for:

  • Required Education: Associates Degree, or, equivalent work experience
  • Preferred Education: Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance or Accounting, or demonstrable progress towards completion
The hiring range for this position in Hawaii is $33,535 - $40,945 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
