This position will work on production audits, presentations, and a myriad of ongoing and ad hoc analysis while interfacing with Production Finance Executives, Studio Accountants, and other operational and corporate departments within the company.
What you will do
Provide administrative support across various departmental functions, including but not limited to audits, project setup and closeout, bank coordination, accounting system support, system downloads, data monitoring, and bank reconciliations.
Set up vendors in financial systems, complete required documentation, and assist in processing invoices and funding requests.
Support the department by addressing inquiries related to studio charges.
Maintain and manage databases, user access, and forms; perform monthly reconciliations of costs between the general ledger and accounting systems.
Willingness and ability to perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, with availability for both local and non-local travel.
Participate in various ad hoc and special projects as needed within the department.
Required Qualifications & Skills
1–2 years of experience in production finance/accounting.
Familiarity with EP and Cast & Crew software suites, as well as SAP; understanding of payroll, accounts payable, journal entries, invoice processing, payment authorization, and general accounting principles.
Ability to complete required reporting deliverables accurately and on time.
Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Education
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $69,200.00 to $95,100.00 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Job Posting Segment:
