The Lead Product Solutions Manager role sits in the Disney Cruise Line SEAS (Seaware Engineering & Application Solutions ) organization within Technology & Digital for Disney Experiences. It works closely with SEAS Development, Systems Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Database Engineering, Revenue Management, Digital and Security Teams from across the company.
The Lead Product Solutions Manager will report to the Senior Manager-Technology.
About The Role & Team
This role sits in the Revenue Management & Cruise Listing studio and will work closely with other development and reporting studios within the team as well as the Business Systems Management and Revenue Management and vendor teams. A key focus of the role is delivering and supporting Pricing, Inventory, Channel Management, etc. capabilities including but not limited to integrations with downstream Revenue Management systems and the front end website. This role will require deep knowledge of a highly configurable application, understanding of the business’ product set up needs and the impacts of the chosen configuration to the system as well as up and down stream middleware and any new integrations that might be needed.
What You Will Do
Lead the design and modification of software enhancements and products for networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related applications, leveraging specialized expertise
Conduct thorough analysis of existing programs and formulates innovative logic for new systems, driving broad perspective solutions
Offer expert recommendations for changes in development, maintenance, and system standards, interpreting internal and external business challenges
Collaborate closely with vendor, outsourcing, and technical teams to develop advanced technical solutions within the organization's architecture
Oversee all aspects of the application platform architecture, cloud, data, security, etc., ensuring strategic alignment and innovation
Champion continuous development and improvement of technical solutions, serving as a role model for excellence
Provide leadership in solving design problems and offering detailed solution specifications, mentoring and guiding colleagues
Help engage around the estimation and planning of highly sophisticated scalable projects and their budget allocations
Stay aligned with emerging technologies in your domain to enable informed recommendations
Lead the effort to ensure the impacts of selling limit usage is understood, well documented and fully tested
Understand the growth of functionality and capabilities over time to collaborate with infrastructure teams to right size testing and production environments
Lead troubleshooting and retrospective activities for inventory, product and pricing related issues
Collaborate with the business and vendor to safely implement new capabilities in the product, pricing and revenue management space
Collaborate with architecture to drive work in the Cruise Listing refactor and Revenue Management spaces
Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of related work experience

Familiar with RESTful APIs and API contracts, API authentication, SQL, Java, serverless architecture, microservices, messaging and event streaming systems, testing tools (ex. Postman, etc.), AWS cloud technologies, etc. and have the desire to develop further technical skills
Knowledge of high-throughput (high volume) transactional systems, ensuring low-latency processing for real-time inventory, pricing, and reservations.
Experience troubleshooting complex issues across layers – system configurations, backend services, middleware, data pipelines, APIs, etc.
Understanding of data protection, encryption, and compliance standards relevant to eCommerce and vendor integrations.
Experience with observability tools like Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Datadog to ensure system health and rapid issue resolution.
Experience analyzing system impacts of configuration choices
Problem solving and root cause analysis skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Versonix Seaware and/or experience in the cruise industry
Ability to manage and optimize multi-step workflows that handle reservations, pricing updates, and product catalog management across different vendors.
Experience designing scalable, reliable, secure integration patterns between revenue management systems, inventory databases and the eCommerece front end.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
