Disney Experiences (DX) is where imagination meets innovation—home to beloved characters and the magic that brings dreams to life. Within DX, the Facilities & Operations Services (FOS) team plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, reliability, and excellence of our rides, shows, and attractions.
As a Systems Analyst on the FOS team, you will support the implementation, training, and maintenance of our asset management system, Maximo, and other safety-related applications. You will serve as a key liaison between technology and operations, ensuring that systems run smoothly and efficiently to support our world-class guest experiences.
The System Analyst will report to the Senior Manager-FOS Systems Reporting & DLR Systems Processes.
What You Will Do
On any given day as a Systems Analyst you might:
- Lead and manage project tasks related to the deployment of supported applications across desktop and mobile platforms
- Deliver training sessions for end users across various departments and technical skill levels
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and resolution support, documenting solutions to enhance knowledge sharing
- Perform routine system maintenance, including user account management, preventive maintenance (PM) module updates, and data integrity checks
- Support reporting and analytics needs using SQL tool sets and system data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support operational needs and deployment schedules
- Participate in a weekly on-call rotation to provide after-hours support
Required Qualifications & Skills
Here’s what you need to be successful at this job:
- Proficiency in Oracle and SQL databases
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience leading meetings and training sessions
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft applications
- Demonstrated project management and task prioritization skills
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributed teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Business Objects, Tableau, or other reporting tools
- Familiarity with Maximo or other Facilities Asset Management systems
- Familiarity with Disney CHEFS and other safety-related applications
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Apps and related development tools
- 3+ years of experience supporting technology implementations or customer support
- Background in software development or systems integration
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
Preferred Education
- Facilities Management certifications
- ITIL Foundation certifications
- Project Management certifications
