How you will contribute to our magical experience?

The Tax Analyst (Temp. Role 8 months) will be responsible for managing Direct Taxes and Tax Litigation at both administrative and judicial levels. This professional will play a key role in ensuring tax compliance, managing tax risks, and providing strategic support for business decisions across multiple countries in the region.

The Tax Analyst (Temp. Role 8 months) will be responsible for:

  • Calculate, assess, review, and file tax obligations related to CIT/IRPJ/CSLL (Corporate Income Tax).
  • Support the preparation and submission of ancillary tax obligations: ECF, DCTF, PER/DCOMP, among others.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Monitor changes in federal, state, and municipal tax legislation that may impact the business.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of Transfer Pricing reports and tax provisions (CPC 32).
  • Work closely with Accounting, Finance, Legal, and other departments to ensure proper tax treatment of operations.
  • Oversee and manage tax litigation processes across all instances (administrative: Federal Revenue Office, CARF, Tax and Fees Courts; judicial: first instance, Federal Regional Courts – TRFs, and Superior Courts).
  • Prepare and/or review responses, appeals, objections, and legal briefs, with the support of external legal firms when necessary.
  • Analyze and evaluate tax risks (Provisions / CPC 25) and report findings to the Accounting team and leadership.
  • Maintain and update the tax litigation database with a strategic perspective, focusing on risk mitigation.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize tax processes, implement automation, use tax technology, and improve internal controls.
  • Participate in system implementation projects, tax flow reviews, and support for new business initiatives.
  • Act as a business partner to various internal teams and coordinate with external stakeholders.
  • Support tax litigation matters across Latin American countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate guidelines.
  • Contribute to the alignment of tax processes and practices across different jurisdictions.

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • 2+ years of previous experience in direct tax compliance and/or tax litigation (administrative and/or judicial).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. Postgraduate studies or specialization in Tax Law or Tax Accounting (plus).
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation (IRPJ, CSLL, withholding taxes, taxation on foreign remittances).
  • Ability to critically analyze documents, interpret legislation, and monitor tax proceedings.
  • Intermediate English and/or desirable Spanish skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience in Big 4 firms, law firms, or multinational companies (plus).
  • Knowledge of tax automation tools and Power BI (plus).
